A NEW POEM EVERY MONTH

Poem from 9/4 Event

The ocean

Appears endless

As she rises

Up and down

Before me.

Diving into her vastness

I know I am intimate

With but a freckle

Of her body,

A glimmer of her soul.

For wide as she is,

She is even deeper.

So many places in her

Have never been touched

By man.

And you, my beloved

Are even deeper

Than she.

So many dreams

Swim

Like undiscovered sea-life

In the depths of you

Waiting for the light of your presence,

The warmth of your love,

The courage of your heart

Wild and free

To bring them to life,

Be still

As the osprey

As she waits

For her next meal

Perched above all things

Then dive

Into the infinite realm

Within,

Swim in your soul

Awaken

Be in awe

At what lives

In you.

September’s Poem

When you first open your eyes
In the morning
And the light of a new day
Fills your vision
Take a moment
To remember
Where you came from

You were a single cell
Not that long ago
Sparked by love
Into life

The Divine entered you there
Grew you from a single cell
Into a human body,
Your human body
With your eyes, your smile
Your gifts, all your dreams!

And God still dances here
Within you now
Filling you with light and life
Everyday

Entering you with each inhale
And exhale you take

Know now,
That You
are just as much a miracle
As you were the day you came
To life

You came to life!

There’s no better way
To start your day
Then with this remembering

You are a miracle
Now carry that
With you,
And never put it down.

August’s Poem

As you lie here

Meditating in a glowing room

Primordial silence

Permeates your soul

Although your eyes are closed

It is now that you see

And your heart radiates, luminous

A full moon of love

Within your very soul

Connecting you to all

Sentient beings

Now

Watch as you exhale

Your heart wanes

Giving it’s light

To others

In beams of joy

And then with that

Very act of giving

Begins to fill itself up again

On your inhale

With incandescent love

Waxing and waning

With the beautiful

Giving and receiving

Of light

Of love

Your heart, the moon

JUNE POEM

An Invitation

She has sent us inside again

To slow us down

Another invitation from Mother

To connect

To the  Light within

Nowhere to go

Nothing to do

But Be

The light of the sun

Is smothered

By the smoke of our illusions,

That endless to-do lists

And the things we buy

Have anything to do

With Who we really are

This is Our invitation to

The Great Remembering

Her lakes, her rivers, her rainfall

Run through our veins

Her wind is the very breath

Who inflates our lungs

Her Light

Gives us Life

We

      Are

            One

We can be the healing waters

To Her raging fires

But only when

We Stop,

Place our hand

Upon our chest

And feel

Her heart

Pumping

There, beneath our rib cage

Only then

Will the waters of our knowing

Put out the raging fires

And clear the smog

From the skies

Allowing our soul shine

To cover Her in Our light

A healing balm for the Mother

Human become One

MAY POEM

The Perfect Vessel

Shall we complain and stress as we live?

Or shall we give thanks for all that is?

It seems so much is taken for granted

Our view of life has become slanted

Despite the truth that life is enchanted

The miracle of life is found inside

Within our vessel the truth resides

Allow your feelings of stress to subside

For each day we carry a body that heals

And feels and has graceful powers, surreal

It spends waking and sleeping moments too

To transform and perfect all that is you

As the organs and cells work for the good of the whole

To cleanse the body and cleanse the soul

The lungs they breathe, the heart it beats

The cells produce, the body heats

The ears they hear, the eyes they blink

The tongue it tastes, the brain it thinks

It is time to give some gratitude

To the perfect vessel that is you.

April Showers

Never let the rain keep you

From going outside

Rather open up your mouth

And drink from the sky

See  the ripples

on the pond

Bouncing around so free

How they all melt into oneness

Entering eternity

Watch the water beads glisten

As from the trees they drip

Catch one on your finger

Bring it to your lips

Like the birds and budding flowers

Allow yourself To Take a sip

Listen to the sound of rain

Allow your soul to calm

The waters from the Mother

Are but a gift, a healing balm

A balm that’s freely given

To smooth your ruffled soul

To bring your mind some quiet

To make your body whole

And when the rain should

Make you cold

Just head back to your nest

Snuggle beneath the covers

Then closer your eyes to rest

As she pitter patters on your window

A steady rhythm she will keep

Rest as a newborn child does

Until Mother lulls you off to sleep.

March’s Poem 2023

Whisperings of Spring

The winds of change
Come in swiftly at times
Blowing you
Into the unknown

Fear not
You Child of the Earth
Enjoy the ride

The Mother loves you
Just as she loves the seed

Which flies fearlessly
On her breath
As it is carried
Safely Home
Into Her
Most fertile soil

Fly freely
You child of the Earth
Trust where you are led
Then Land where you land

And get ready
To be reborn

In the heart
Of Gaia

“Reiki is Love, Love is wholeness, wholeness is balance, balance is wellbeing, well being is freedom from disease.” Dr Mikao Usui
