Christine’s Reiki Story<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Reiki story began during a very painful part of my life.  It was August 2017, my husband and I had a beautiful two year old daughter and we were ready to have another child.  I became pregnant quite easily and we were on our way to becoming a family of four.  Unfortunately I lost that baby in the first trimester of my pregnancy.  We had a little ceremony and named him Micheal.  It was very painful for me but I still held onto hope.  We kept trying and sure enough three months later we were pregnant again.  We were ecstatic.  However, our joy didn\u2019t last very long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

January 10, 2018 I lost my godmother, Aunt Terry from a long battle with cancer.  It was devastating but I would place my hands on my belly and hear the lines from a Jack Johnson song playing in my head \u201cnew life makes losing life easier to understand\u201d.  It didn\u2019t make the loss easier or the pain less but it was like carrying a little bit of hope in my heart, a light in my belly.  I passed the six week pregnancy point where I had lost Michael and with each additional week that passed I felt more comfort in the pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We never made it to second trimester.  With the loss of the second baby I watched my hope beginning to fade.  I had three huge losses in a matter of six months.  My anxiety flew through the roof as I felt unable to trust my body or the larger forces in the universe.  I didn\u2019t know how to get out of the hole I had fallen into.  Everything I thought I knew with certainty had failed me.  Nothing made sense to me anymore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not knowing what to do, my mother showed up and offered me all she had to offer, some Reiki.  I was lying in my bed anxiety spinning in my stomach, pain in my heart and she placed her hands on me.  I could feel a calming energy flowing through her hands into my body, for the first time in a long time I felt complete peace and relaxation.  All of my worries floated away.  It was so wonderful to feel that peacefulness even while grieving the losses of my loved ones.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was in that moment that I knew I needed to learn more about Reiki.  I went to my first Reiki class and became certified in February 2018.  I haven\u2019t stopped learning, enjoying and sharing the benefits of Reiki since that moment.  I went all the way through the Holy Fire Reiki training becoming a Karuna Reiki\u00ae master in 2021.  It has changed my life in profound, unimaginable ways.  It is a gift that I can use through all of lifes ups and downs.  It is a gift I can offer others in their time of need.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am so grateful for that day when my mom first introduced me to the world of Reiki.  Now my dream is to bring Reiki to others so that together we can create a better, more peaceful, less fearful world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jean’s Reiki Story<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am blessed. I am a wife, the mother of 5 daughters and a grandmother of 11.  As a Registered Nurse on the oncology unit I was introduced to Reiki in 2006.  I became interested in Reiki when passing through the Hospice unit and seeing flyers for Reiki.  I became intrigued and fascinated when I researched Reiki and saw that its call to healing and balancing energies seemed to mirror my callings and my being.   I needed to learn more and find a way to incorporate Reiki into my life.    I was trained in White Light Jorei Reiki, levels I, II, III, and IV the Master Level.  I started doing Reiki shares once a month and Reiki Retreats 3-4 times a year.  I found Reiki to be deeply relaxing for both the client and me.  Reiki allows healing to take place on all levels -mind-body-spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As time passed my sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer.  The hopelessness and inability to help was overwhelming to me.  It was in her last month that I realized that God had given me the gift of Reiki and I found myself able to pass along that gift.    I placed my Reiki filled hands on her body many times and each time was able to feel her relaxing in the midst of her struggle.  Reiki not only helped my sister transition as peacefully as she did, but it aided me in the acceptance of her passing and the truth of our connectedness whether we are here or passing back into the eternal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I later was introduced to Usui, Holy Fire and Karuna Reiki as well as Medical Reiki Master.  I am a Reiki Master Teacher and Practioner.  I love combining my Nursing and Reiki together to care for my patients.
I have volunteered giving Reiki to cancer patients, family and friends.My love of Reiki continues to grow and I want to share this loving practice with the world.Reiki is love- and in the words of popular song the truth exists \u201cLove is all we need\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
